Meet Bridget Anders Milliken, O.D.

Learn more about the experience and expertise of our very own Dr. Miliken.

Dr. Bridget Anders Milliken has been in practice serving the Miss-Lou area since 2008, and she established Miss-Lou Eye Care in January of 2013. Dr. Milliken grew up in Ferriday, Louisiana before attending Louisiana State University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude receiving a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2004. She received her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham graduating in 2008.

While a student at UAB, she was a member of SVOSH, a volunteer organization that served the needs of underprivileged patients in the United States and abroad.

She also received extensive training in primary care, pediatrics, and contact lens fittings. Dr. Milliken is licensed to practice optometry in Mississippi and Louisiana. She recently completed training and is licensed to perform some minor surgical and laser procedures in Louisiana.

She is an active member of the American Optometric Association, Louisiana Optometric Association, and Mississippi Optometric Association. She is also active in the community, a member of the Natchez Chamber of Commerce, and serving on the board of other organizations.

In her spare time, Dr. Milliken enjoys playing tennis, traveling, and spending time with her family. She is married to Dr. Tom T. Milliken and they have 3 children, Anders, Ada and Evan.
